Can NDIS funding be used for dietitian appointments?
Funding suitability depends on the participant’s plan, goals and approved supports. Participants or support coordinators should confirm available funding before booking.
Service
Participant-centred nutrition support designed around daily living goals, food access, independence and practical routines.
Karma Nutrition provides participant-centred dietitian support for eligible NDIS participants on the Gold Coast and by telehealth. Nutrition care can consider food skills, meal structure, sensory preferences, gastrointestinal symptoms, healthy weight goals, chronic conditions and the practical barriers that affect eating at home. Recommendations are designed to support capacity building and everyday independence while working alongside families, support coordinators, carers and other health professionals where appropriate.
NDIS nutrition support is tailored to the participant’s goals, functional needs, living situation and support network. The first consultation reviews current eating patterns, health concerns, food access, cooking ability and any barriers affecting nutrition.
Consultations are one-on-one and nutrition support is evidence-based, practical and tailored to your lifestyle, culture, goals and clinical needs.
Karma Nutrition supports clients across Gold Coast suburbs with telehealth available for Brisbane clients.
